How quickly will I get a decision?
Most applications are processed in less than a minute.
If your application requires extra review, we’ll notify you by email.
Will applying affect my credit score?
No, applying does not affect your FICO® or VantageScore®.
However, we may use data from Clarity, an alternative credit bureau, which could impact your credit profile with that bureau.
If you’re approved and accept the offer, your new credit line will appear on your credit report, which may affect your score depending on usage and payment history.
Why was my application declined?
If your application was not approved, you’ll receive an email with details explaining the reason.
Your FICO® or VantageScore® will not be affected by a declined application.
Can I apply again after being declined?
Yes. You can reapply after 30 days from the date of your last decision.
What does it mean if my credit is frozen?
A credit freeze prevents new lines of credit from being opened. If your credit is frozen, we won’t be able to process your application until the freeze is lifted.
To lift the freeze, contact these bureaus:
Equifax
Experian
TransUnion
Clarity
What does a fraud alert mean?
A fraud alert is a security flag added to your credit file—usually when identity theft is suspected. It requires lenders to verify your identity before opening new credit.
If you have a fraud alert, we may request additional identity verification before processing your application.
