For example, if you notice that the shipping address on your account has changed, see a Marketplace order on your account that you did not place, or if you receive an email stating an unknown location logged into your Perpay account, these are all issues that you should immediately reach out to our team about.
We recommend that you take the following steps if you see any suspicious activity on your account:
The first thing we recommend in these situations is to change your password. We suggest you make your password unique and secure, so it cannot be easily guessed! We have some suggestions listed below:
Aim for at least 12 characters
1 uppercase letter
1 special character
1 number

The next step is to cancel any Marketplace orders you see on your account that you did not place. If a payment has not been made for the order, it is important to cancel the order as soon as you see it. Once a payment is applied to the order, Perpay’s Customer Success Team may not be able to cancel the order before it ships.
The faster you let us know about any suspicious activity on your account, the quicker our team can get started on investigating for you.

Make sure to explain the situation with us and include as many details as possible so we can best assist you. Please know our team may ask you to provide either a police report or an identity theft report. You can file a police report with your local police department, and an identity theft report can be filed using the link here.
