How do I report Suspicious Activity on my Account?

What to do if you see any unrecognized activity on your Perpay account and some best practices for preventing account access

Updated over a week ago

Your security is a top priority for Perpay. We always do our best to ensure we resolve any potentially unauthorized activity on our users' accounts. If you feel your account has been compromised in any way, please reach out to our Success team immediately via chat or by emailing hello@perpay.com with all the details of your situation.

For example, if you notice that the shipping address on your account has changed, see an order on your account that you did not place, or if you receive an email stating an unknown location logged into your Perpay account, these are all issues that you should reach out to our team about.

We recommend that you take the following steps if you see any suspicious activity on your account:

The first thing we recommend in these situations is to change your password. We suggest you make your password unique and secure, so it cannot be easily guessed! We have some suggestions listed below:

  • Aim for at least 12 characters

  • 1 uppercase letter

  • 1 special character

  • 1 number

You can reset your password using the link here.

The next step is to cancel any orders you see on your account that you did not place. If a payment has not been made for the order, it is important to cancel the order as soon as you see it. Once a payment is applied to the order, it is not guaranteed that the Customer Success Team will be able to cancel the order before it ships.

The faster you can let us know about any suspicious activity on your account, the quicker our team can get started on investigating for you.

Finally, the most important step is to reach out to our Customer Success Team.

Make sure to explain the situation with as many details as possible so they can best assist you. Please know our team may ask you to provide either a police report or an identity theft report. You can file a police report with your local police department, and an identity theft report can be filed using the link here.

If you have any more questions related to this process please reach out via chat or email hello@perpay.com.
