Perpay Marketplace Eligibility Requirements

Welcome to Perpay, we would love to work with you!

Updated this week

General Requirements for Marketplace Eligibility

To be eligible for the Perpay Marketplace, you must meet the following general requirements:

  • You must be 18 years of age or older.

  • You must be a U.S. resident.

  • You must have an active mobile phone with a U.S. cellular carrier (such as AT&T, T-Mobile, or Verizon). Electronic or Voice over IP (VoIP) numbers, like those from Smart Talk, AirTalk, or WhatsApp, cannot be verified.

  • You must not have any active bankruptcies.

  • You must be in good standing with all your financial obligations.

  • You must have a valid mailing address.

Employment and Income Requirements

The following are the employment and income-related requirements for eligibility:

  • You must be actively in full-time, W-2 employment within the United States.

  • You must have a minimum of three months of continuous employment history with your current employer.

  • Independent contractors (1099 workers), gig-economy workers (such as from DoorDash, Uber, or Lyft), and self-employed individuals are not currently eligible unless they own a company that pays them through a third-party payroll system.

  • SSI/SSDI and VA income are also accepted for the Perpay Marketplace.

Payment Requirements

  • You must be paid via direct deposit through a third-party payroll system.

  • You must be able to split your paycheck into a secondary direct deposit account.

  • Please note that Perpay cannot accept payments via debit card, credit card, or ACH bank payments to release Marketplace orders for shipment.

Understanding Non-Recourse Orders

All Perpay Marketplace orders are non-recourse. This means the only consequence of failing to make all the agreed-upon payments for a Marketplace order is that you may lose access to the Marketplace for placing future orders.

*If you are not able to split your direct deposit, please refer to the article here.
