Marketplace Order Approval Process

What to expect of our approvals process after you place a Marketplace order

Updated over a week ago

There are three approval processes when placing an order on our Marketplace:

  1. Order approval

  2. Instant/active shipment approval

Once you are happy with the items in your cart and finalize your order, it immediately goes under review with our Approvals team. Each order must go through the approval process.

Some factors that go into the order approval process are:

  1. Your payment history with us

  2. The completion of your Perpay profile

  3. Whether the order total is less than your available spending limit

All orders must be within your available spending limit for our Approvals team to review.

Order Approval Statuses:

Awaiting payment/Order Approved

This means your order was approved by our Approvals team and we’re just waiting for your first payroll direct deposit payment (Read this article for more information about how to set up your direct deposit payments)!

Once your order is approved, we’ll let you know via email and on your Perpay dashboard! Then, you’ll be able to set up your direct deposit to send us your first payment (please note that we operate solely through direct deposit). We will walk you through this process and help you get set up.

In review

This means your order is currently under review with our Approvals team, which will normally have a decision within minutes but can take up to 1-2 business days. You also may see this as “order pending approval” on your order history.

Action required

Reach out to our support team via chat or email hello@perpay.com through the email associated with your Perpay account for further assistance - we might just need some more information from you to get the ball rolling! You also may see this as “order pending approval” on your order history.

Not approved

If your order is not approved, you can try placing a different order for review or come back in a few months to have your account re-evaluated. We understand this might be disappointing news, but we hope to be able to work with you soon!
