There are three approval processes when placing an order on our Marketplace:
Marketplace order approval
Instant/active shipment approval
Once you are happy with the items in your cart and have finalized your Marketplace order, it immediately goes under review with our Approvals team. Each order must go through the approval process.
Some factors that go into the order approval process are:
Your payment history with us
The completion of your Perpay profile
Whether the order total is less than your available spending limit
All orders must be within your available spending limit for our Approvals team to review.
Marketplace Order Approval Statuses:
Awaiting payment/Order Approved
This status means your Marketplace order was approved by our Approvals Team and we’re just waiting for your first qualifying payroll direct deposit payment (Read this article for more information about how to set up your direct deposit)!
Once your order is approved, we’ll let you know via email and on your Perpay dashboard! Then, you’ll be able to set up your direct deposit to send us your first payment (please note that we operate solely through direct deposit for approving Marketplace orders for shipment). We will walk you through this process and help you get set up.
What is a Qualifying Payment?
In order to prepare your item for shipping, the following payment qualifications must be met:
The first payment toward your order must be via payroll direct deposit
Payments via debit card, bank account, or any other form of payment will not process orders for shipping
The first direct deposit payment must be received after your order is approved
Orders must be in an approved status before your first direct deposit is received and processed
Orders approved on the same day payment is received will not be prepared for shipping, even if the total minimum payment is met
Your first direct deposit payment must be equal to or greater than your total minimum payment
Your total minimum payment amount can be found on your Perpay Dashboard
Note: Accrued overpayments or credits will not prepare orders for shipping. A direct deposit payment must be received after order approval to qualify items for the shipping process. Users are unable to qualify orders for shipping with advance payments or by 'paying ahead'.
Not approved
If your Marketplace order is not approved, you can try placing a different order for review or come back in a few months to have your account re-evaluated. We understand this might be disappointing news, but we hope to be able to work with you soon!
